🌿Patchwork quilts that bring summer to life

Sometimes I think quilts have a memory.

Not ours, but their own.

And if you look closely, someone’s summer always lives in them.

I think quilts remember more than we do.

A patchwork quilt is more than just a thing.

It’s always a little bit of history, a little bit of memory and a little bit of the mood of home.

In one, the sound of the sea.

In another, the garden outside Grandma’s window.

In a third, a sunny afternoon at the dacha, when everything seems endless.

I’ve put together a few ideas—not just based on colors, but on feelings.

Because, as it turns out, summer has different personalities.

There is always a lot of air here.

Blue and turquoise fabrics are reminiscent of the sea,
sandy ones – the shore and warm light.

You don’t so much want to use this blanket as leave it “to wait” – on the veranda, where the wind moves the curtains and the distant rustle of the trees can be heard.
